NEW YEAR GREETING.

Role: Design

Client: Personal Work

Created: 2022

In Japan, there is a custom of sending postcards on January 1 to congratulate people on the New Year and express gratitude for their daily activities
With the advent of smartphones these days, it's hard to get into the habit of actually sending New Year's cards using postcards!

I created this visual on Instagram to see if there was anything I could do myself for New Year's greetings.

The New Year is a good opportunity to start something new for me.

So, I made myself a person who is about to open a café.The store is made of styrofoam and clay,The top is based on Kagamimochi, a rice cake decorated for the New Year, which all Japanese people know.

I am very happy to be able to help people learn more about Japan through my designs.
